All About Self Hypnosis

You may have heard about self hypnosis in conjunction with weight loss or as a way to stop smoking; however these are not the only areas that you can get help in. just about any problem or phobia that you can think of can benefit from hypnotherapy. While this article is going to give you information about self hypnosis you should be aware of the facts that you can also see a hypnotherapist. Sometimes you can have more of an impact if you see a hypnotherapist in conjunction with a self hypnosis technique.

You can find online or in some stores a wide variety of helpful CD’s or if you look online places to download self hypnosis instruction on your MP3 player. Some of the many items you can find that may be helpful for your situation are the fear of flying, anger management, stress relief or even pain management. You will find that if you enter into self hypnosis with an open mind you will achieve excellent results. What type of results can you expect from self hypnosis? If you have issues with anger management, just imagine what it would be like to take back your life and to have anger under control. You can do this all from the privacy of your home when you insert a self hypnosis technique. If you aren’t feeling well because you have spiralled out of control with your eating habits and gained weight and you can no longer fit in your clothes, by practicing self hypnosis you will be able to achieve a sensible weight for your frame. You will be able to save money and your health when you stop smoking with self hy pnosis; you couldn’t give yourself a better present. Sleep problems and addictions could be a thing of the past for you.

What is the procedure for using a self hypnosis technique? You will need to find a quiet place in your home where you won’t be disturbed by your family or roommate. Strive to use the self hypnosis every day for at least twenty one days. You will find out more about how long you should use the therapy once you have chosen a CD that you like. It is very important that you are vigilant about using self hypnosis. If you aren’t consistent you won’t see the desired results. Choose a room where you feel comfortable and at peace. It could be a favourite chair, bed or even the floor. The CD will instruct you on how to breathe for maximum relaxation. This is when the pleasant voice of the hypnotherapist will come into play. If you can’t relax and let go then you haven’t found the right hypnotherapist for you. You may find that you don’t hear the whole CD or tape; you don’t need to worry about it. The information will be taking root in your sub conscious mind. It is not uncommon for the experience to relax you to the po int of sleep.

There also may be a time where you will want to use a hypnotherapist outside your home. This works very well with the self hypnosis technique you may have been using at home. Sometimes you may need a little extra help from a therapist and by that I mean that they can give you more specific suggestions for your particular needs. The self hypnosis CD’s that you can purchase will of course be more generic as they have to appeal to a larger group. If you find that may be what you need to compliment your self hypnosis technique then you will find that you will achieve what you set out to do, which is betterment of your life.

Can hypnosis actually make us lose memories?

Some have told me that hypnotherapist can make us lose memories by using hypnosis, I think this is impossible. It’s not clear to me, because what I’ve known is hypnotherapy can make us recall the long lost memories only. I don’t know if that is right or not.
So, who know well about this, please tell me. Thanks.

Well technically you don’t lose any memories. What you can do is just tell your unconscious to just not remember certain things that would be considered harmful from your past. The best thing actually would be to go back to that time on your timeline and re-decide what that event means, creating a new positive meaning and learning would actually serve you better then just forgetting a memory. So yes, you can tell yourself to just not remember, its more like you just wont be effected by that anymore. You can also recall past memories…if it is positive then that is a good thing, but if it is a negative memory there are ways to do it without reliving the negative feelings. Hi,
Breathing is extremely helpful in times of stress. Yes it affects my mood because it contributes to restore my body balance. I feel more relaxed.

Practically what happens is that in case of chronic stress a lot of tension is accumulated at the chest, shoulders and head areas. Breathing helps me bring back the balance by taking all this tension down or out of the body (whichever you prefer).

meditation iz verry effective!!! the best thing to do is go outside where u are only surrounded by nature. kinda lay down and relax. make perfectly sure u are not worried about anything. think about happy things that have happened in your life. sit and do that for atleast 30-60 minutes.

okay, so i have the body of my essay already written, the main theme being relaxation and cleanliness. i have one paragraph on people finding relaxation in cleaning, one one relaxation and family, one on relaxation and cleanliness with the body, and two other pointless paragraphs. basically the whole essay is on relaxing and cleanliness and how they affect each other. i need an introduction. i am having much trouble writing it. i want to start it with “cleanliness is next to godliness” please help!!!!!!!

Well the idea of an intro is to catch readers attention by introducing your paper by paragraph in order. For example, if my paper’s 1st para talked about how people relax by cleaning, my 2nd talked about people who relax by being around their family, 3rd talked about how most people enjoy being clean to relax, and so on, my introduction would start. There are many ways to relax and enjoy days when you have a day off, but people’s motives for relaxing and cleanliness can vary. Some people clean to relax, other people relax when they are with their families, and most people need to feel clean while they are relaxing. No matter what your preference is, the most important thing is that you are happy, relaxed and clean.
Then make sure each para starts off with a corresponding topic sentence. Such as for the 1st sentence. Believe it or not, some people find cleaning to be relaxing due to……. blah blah blah.
On a side note, I would not put cleanliness is next to godliness unless you plan on addressing that in the paper, or maybe as an opening line, saying, many years ago, people said cleanliness was next to godliness and then something pertaining to cleaning in your paper. You may be able to work it in your conclusion. Which should be similar to your intro, but summarizing the main points.

Hypnosis leaves your brain open to suggestions that may include things other than being ticklish.
Some think it gives the demons a chance to enter the body and in some cases it completely changes a persons personality into one very undesirable. It is a very dangerous thing to do.
